How are prayer times calculated?
MiqatAir uses the aircraft’s route, flight times and the position of the sun, including when crossing time zones or changing local dates.
How does my plan reflect flight changes?
When flight information is refreshed, MiqatAir recalculates prayers and reminders using the newly received information.
How do I read the Qibla compass?
The compass shows Qibla relative to the cockpit at the selected time, using the available trajectory. During a turn, the aircraft’s actual orientation may differ from this indication: pray according to your ability.
How are long-haul flights handled?
The calculation follows the route and the progression of daylight, taking time zones and local dates into account. Estimated sections of the route keep their label.
